  • Off The Chain is a blockchain and cryptocurrency security conference hosting their first event in San Francisco, CA. The founders of Off The Chain Productions, Will Kilty and Noelle Murata, came to us after they weren’t satisfied with their first attempt to brand their conference. Our goal was to give them a solid, timeless brand that serves as the foundational look and feel for their first conference without clashing with future conference themes, partners, sponsors. Their brand needs to reflect the security industry, appeal to the young tech focused audience they are hoping to capture, while being recognizable yet malleable as they grow their business.

  • Our process began with figuring out why Off The Chain’s first attempt to acquire a visual identity did not work. We jumped right into discovery and gained valuable insight into their needs and where they see the future of their company going forward. We presented two moodboards that represented two different creative directions, this way we could discuss what Will and Noelle liked visually without diving straight into deliverables. Once a creative direction was established, we presented two brand options. From there, the final brand was refined, finalized and sent over to Off The Chain to be implemented into their website and future conference collateral.

  • We created a strong visual identity for Off The Chain that is simple yet recognizable. Their brand is identifiable as entirely their own, but can also be used without their Blockberry pop of color to easily pair with conference sponsors and partners. We know that this is a great foundation for them to continue to build their business and will serve them well as they create web and print collateral.
